Introducing the UL Clubs and Societies Dance Party, Hope in Motion Fundraiser 2014! Show us your moves, and fundraise for over 180 underprivileged children in Thailand to have a Christmas.

The party will take place on Tuesday November 6th at 9pm in the Stables Club in the University of Limerick. Playing on the night will be Silver PPi winner, Spin South West DJ Martin Guilfoyle.

The objective is to create UL’s greatest party, and dance competition, all for a bit of craic! Ten teams will be accepted but there can only be ONE winner. Will your club, team or society be crowned the 2014 winner?

Sign your group up today to ensure these underprivileged children and their families in Thailand get a Christmas they will never forget.

Hope In Motion Presents UL Clubs & Socs Dance Party

Hope in Motion are raising funds to give over 180 underprivileged children in Thailand the opportunity to experience a real Christmas!

Four to five judges will judge each team, in a number of categories. The scale will range from 1-5 with 5 being the highest in each category. The categories will be: creativity, skill, showmanship, costumes/outfits and overall performance.

Each judge will have 25 votes in total, the audience will have the rest of the votes. Each club will have their own bucket and tickets to sell beforehand and on the night. Once all acts have performed the votes will be tallied and added to the judges votes. The winning team will receive a trophy as best dancers 2014. On top of all this a raffle will take place from the tickets sold by the winning team!

Hope in Motion is a non-profit volunteer organisation that was founded in 2010. Their goal is to provide support and assistance to those denied access to basic services through the provision of educational activities, medical and humanitarian relief, and practical help. They are committed to enhancing the quality of life of the disadvantaged, displaced, and those without hope.

All proceeds from the night will go towards a very special Christmas to over 180 underprivileged children in Thailand. This will include but is not limited to a lovely Christmas party with games and play as well as a grand appearance from Santa himself, who will personally give a gift to each child. There will be Christmas dinner complete with desert (and ice-cream, kids favorite!) and a large shopping gift bag for each family, with essential food and gift items for them to take home.

You too can be a part of making this Christmas a reality for these children, and giving them a wonderful Christmas they will treasure forever. Get involved today, with a donation of any amount, every little bit goes a long way. Be a part of this great cause.
