Limerick Craft Hub are starting back with their first Tasty Tuesday on February 3 at 1pm. Craft Hub customers are invited to visit the store on 9 Lower Cecil Street to enjoy a selection of complimentary nibbles, where they will be launching their latest food product, Galtee Irish Honey. The health benefits of local honey are endless; from treating allergies and preventing colds, to helping you sleep, local honey is top of the food chain. Visitors can enjoy tea and Ponaire Coffee, as well as home-baked bread and cheese with their honey and local preserves.

The Limerick Craft Hub are also showcasing MoonRiver’s range of chocolates, who are one of the three suppliers of the Limerick Craft Hub. They were awarded the prestigious Edit Selection at the Design and Craft Council of Ireland’s international trade fair, Showcase Ireland, in Dublin last weekend. Limerick enterprises Homeland Candles and Bríd O’Kane Embroidery Art were also awarded.

There are a wide selection of unique gifts available in the store for your loved one for this upcoming Valentines day, from exceptional hats to beautiful jewellery, bespoke art, ceramics and hand-crafted soft toys.

For a different, more personal kind of a gift, you could give your Valentine the gift of a craft class, or you could make your own gifts at the Limerick Craft Hub’s one-off Valentines Day Craft Workshop on Saturday 7 February

The four hour workshop comprises of two two-hour sessions. The first session is with silversmith Fergus Grant Stephenson, who will take you through the steps of making your own silver heart pendant, which you can then take home on a silver chain in a presentation box. The second half of the workshop is with ceramic artist Clare Jordan, with whom you will make adorable ceramic heart decorations from little plates to trinket bowls. You will decorate, glaze and fire your hand-crafted creations and take them home with your silver, all for €75. The workshops are small in order for everyone to get individual attention, so early booking will ensure your place. For more details on the workshop, visit their website here.

The Limerick Craft Hub is a living studio space, workshop and gallery for over 40 Limerick artists and crafters. Everything in store is designed and made in Limerick.
