Focus Ireland Lip Sync Battle 2017 Fundraiser in Limerick
Focus Ireland are calling on companies and community groups to take to the stage on the 2nd of June at the Grand National South Court Hotel and take part in the Focus Ireland Lip Sync Battle in Limerick!
Lip Sync Battle is a great team building event and provides a fun way to support Focus Ireland and enjoy a fantastic night out with family, friends and colleagues. It’s an event the whole community can get involved in either by being part of a battle or by supporting the team on performance night. Each group that takes part may enter a team of 4 people participants who choose their favourite song to rehearse and perform on show night. Some previous examples include: Cher & Christina ‘Welcome to Burlesque’, Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars ‘Uptown Funk’, The Weeknd ‘Can’t Feel my Face’ and ‘Dancing Granny’s Mix’ to name but a few.
All skill levels are welcome and performers will receive professional support and training over a period of six weeks with rehearsals fitting to the performer’s schedules after the first group meeting. Teams will compete in front of an audience of their friends, family and colleagues who will vote for the winning team along with local well-known judges from the world of sport, media and entertainment.
Tickets to the event will cost €25 with a free brochure on the night and all performers will be provided with 10-15 tickets to sell to their friends, family and colleagues. If you are interested in taking part in this fantastic event and raise funds for those experiencing homelessness contact Lysinda Kirby on 086 8223690 or Lysinda.email@example.com. The deadline for registration is Friday 21st of April.
There are currently over 7100 people homeless in Ireland and 1 in 3 now homeless is a child. Focus Ireland has provided homeless services in Limerick since 1998 and has supported thousands of families, individuals and young people out of homelessness.
