Many people encouraged Denise over the years, to write down her messy play ideas. However, it was not until 2014 when Denise found herself confined to the Maternity Hospital in Limerick for six weeks before the birth of her twins that the opportunity arose to write her book. Denise hopes that this book will appeal to parents and professionals alike. It is packed with interesting information on the benefits of messy play and gives a complete guide to anyone wanting to take the plunge with their own children. All the activities are easy to follow and colourful photos bring the messy play ideas to life for the reader.
