Rape Crisis Midwest in conjunction with Parkway Shopping Centre, Limerick is calling on the public, especially men, throughout the Midwest Region to ask that they ‘Don’t walk away- and instead walk in her shoes’ at their Walk In Her Shoes 2017 event, to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence throughout the Midwest.

Once again join them and help to raise awareness of sexual violence in Limerick`s Parkway Shopping Centre on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 12 – 2 pm for Walk In Her Shoes 2017. While the walk down the red carpet is of short duration, what can take participants ten seconds on the day assists the Rape Crisis Midwest to provide hours of support to those who need it most. This is a day suitable for all the family and there is a great line-up of entertainment promised that will feature jugglers, face painters and music

Your participation guarantees great fun for all those supporting and watching you. There is a €5 registration fee on the day. For those who register in advance online, there is an opportunity to win a quality eStar tablet kindly sponsored by Limerick City College.  You can also take a sponsorship card to raise money for a great cause.
