Young people from across Limerick descended on the University Concert Hall on Friday last, as the best of Limerick’s talented teens took the stage for Limerick Youth Service’s annual variety show, Youth Factor 2017!

The event, which continues to grow in popularity, saw over twenty acts bravely take part four categories: dance, performance, song & music and showcase their talent in front of a packed house.

From covers of Journey’s anthem, Don’t Stop Believing to traditional Irish music and very entertaining comedy sketches, the judging panel of William Reidy, West Limerick 102FM, Siobhan Jackson, School of Dance and Ciara Meade, Music Generation, faced the unenviable task of choosing the winner.

Fedamore Youth Club wowed the judges with their comedic classroom sketch as they won the Performance Category that had the audience in stitches.

Youth Factor 2017 also featured a Banner Competition which proved a huge hit with Queen of Peace Youth Club taking home the prize back to Janesboro.
