Adare to Survive has announced that Cliona’s Foundation, a Limerick founded charity that provides financial assistance for critically ill children, will be its charity partner for the inaugural event taking place this September. Event Directors, Ray Nash and Mark Tuohy, announced the partnership at the launch in the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands Hotel in Adare last week, both men said they were “humbled” to be associated with such a worthwhile cause. Adare to Survive is a 7.5K military style obstacle course that will take place in Adare’s Clonshire Equestrian Centre on Sunday September 29 and competitors are invited to “Endeavour, Endure and Enjoy” a unique mental and physical challenge on a course consisting of approximately 35 obstacles, including 8 foot walls, ponds, trenches and beams featuring mud, barbed wire and electric shocks.  Registration to Adare to Survive is open on the event website www.adaretosurvive.com and competitors are encouraged to sign up promptly as places are limited. If you’d like to learn more about Cliona’s Foundation, donate or apply for financial assistance please visit www.clionasfoundation.com. To see a video about the foundation go to ILoveLimerick.com.
