The County Limerick village of Boher, rallied around once more to raise funds for Cliona’s Foundation, a charity which provides financial assistance to families with critically ill children and for whom the community have deep affection. The Boher Macra na Feirme held their second annual table quiz in Hanley’s of Boher on May 2nd and raised a generous sum of €700 for the Foundation.

The small, close-knit parish learned of Cliona’s Foundation after the charity provided financial support to a local family struggling with their critically ill child. Since the passing of a 12-year-old girl in their community in 2013 the people of Boher have come together to fundraise and give back to Cliona’s Foundation. On June 7th they will hold the second annual Ciara Mc Carthy Memorial Cycle commencing in Boher Station House Community Centre at 7pm.
