The Three Tenors Ireland to play Limerick this December

The Three Tenors Ireland will be playing in three Christmas concerts in three different locations in Limerick this December.

The first Christmas concert will be held on the 7 of December in Newcastle West Church and is in aid of in aid of Newcastle West & District Lions Club. Tickets for this concert can be bought from the Lions Club by calling 069-61888.

The second concert will be held at St Munchins Church on December 21 and tickets can be bought from the parish office/Abbey Bookshop on 061-400252 or from the Diocesan Centre on 061-400133.

The final third concert will take place at Glin Church on December 23.

The Three Tenors Ireland are the country’s leading tenor sensations. The New York Times raved that after seeing trio’s performance it can only be summed up as “most delicious box of chocolates your ears could ever have”.

The Three Tenors have headlined in a number of prestigious venues including the National Concert Hall in Dublin, the Cork Opera House, Killarney INEC and Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin. The trio are always in demand they recently headlined the sell-out European Premiere of Steven Spielberg’s Oscar winning film Lincoln.

The talented trio have a busy few months ahead of them and have just embarked on their winter tour, which will see performances across Ireland and the UK. These highly anticipated shows in Limerick are not to be missed!

The group will be joined on stage by gifted violinist Maria Mason. Maria, who is a star in her own right and has performed with many musical icons such as Andrea Bochelli and Rod Stewart.

With their superb voices and friendly down-to-earth approach, combined with an eclectic mix of songs, this talented trio never disappoints. Hear the hits ‘I Believe’ ‘SHE’ and from Sinatra (My Way/New York, New York), Leonard Cohen (Hallelujah), Pavarotti (Nessun Dorma)and classics from The Dubliners. Not to forget a rousing selection of the greatest Irish Ballads.
