Spin South West and Music Generation Limerick City Live at the Pery

Spin South West and Music Generation Limerick City will be holding Live at the Pery on Sunday, 28^th of June, from 1pm to 6pm. This unique festival which will be held in Pery Square is one of Music Generation Limerick City’s biggest gigs yet, hosting- 40 bands, 2 stages and 5 hours of quality music.

Music Generation Limerick City is all about helping children access music education so that music is in the heart and soul of young people all across the county. Music Generation Limerick City is run by the Limerick City Music Education Partnership and host an incredible team of musicians. This team of musicians ensure that they instil confidence in young people so that they can express themselves and to perform.

Music Generation host a number of special projects in the interest of youths in Limerick. Limerick Band Explosion reaches out to marginalised young people and strive to create a vibrant music scene. They also have a converted double decker bus the Music Gen Express, which includes a performance space, field recording studio, workshop area and an outside festival stage.

Along with the teaching aspect of Music Generation, they also offer a good platform for students to perform and experience live crowds. Live at the Pery on June 28^th will showcase the musical talent that Limerick city has to offer. Their biggest gig yet will surely have plenty to offer so be sure to come along and support what is to be a great and free show.
