There was much to celebrate in the packed ballroom of the Clayton Hotel in Dublin 4, as popular broadcaster Anton Savage announced TUS Midwest student Clodagh Henderson as the 2024 Digital Marketing Student of the Year.

This category acknowledges students who excel in understanding and applying digital media in business. It is open to all students across Ireland and is judged by a panel of industry experts.

Kilkenny native Clodagh is a student on the MSc in Digital Marketing & Analytics, based in TUS Moylish campus in Limerick. As part of the requirements, students can opt to create a digital marketing strategy for a real company, offering them valuable and practical experience. As a Marketing Executive with Kilkenny Design, Clodagh worked closely with the business to deliver a strategic social media campaign aimed at attracting 18–24-year-olds.

Following closely on her classmate’s heels, Shruti Nadagouda, another Moylish campus-based student was awarded Silver in the category. Completing the hat trick, the Bronze Award went to Yinxin Lee from the TUS Athlone campus for her work with Midlandjobs.ie.

This year’s victory continues the winning streak for TUS which has produced the Digital Student of the Year winner four years in a row. The Master’s degree at Moylish is delivered by teaching staff with robust industry experience in Ryanair, SHR Group Avvio, Failte Ireland, Virgin Media, Glanbia, Cook Medical and Newstalk among others. With a strong focus on industry connections, including Meta and Google, programme graduates are highly capable and ready to hit the ground running in this innovative and dynamic industry.
