2024 Féile Na Gréine brings sounds to Limerick City from August 23-25

The 2024 Féile Na Gréine programme is released bringing sound and energy to Limerick City

2024 Feile na Greine

Limerick will be hopping with the sounds and energy of emerging and experimental music as Féile Na Gréine will shine over the city from August 23-25.

Since its foundation in 2018, the grassroots creative event, organised by a group of dedicated volunteers and friends, has been transforming Limerick City into a vibrant festival of music and creativity bringing the community together.

Celebrating a DIY ethos, Féile Na Gréine is built on the belief that music should be accessible to all and this year is no different as the festival remains open to the public with just one paid event among the many free shows on offer over the weekend, the perfect opportunity to explore Limerick’s ever-changing musical landscape.

The festival will feature a wide range of artists, from the movements of dancer/choreographer Amir Sabra to the much-loved beats of 40Hurtz, the Féile Na Gréine brings the perfect mix of mediums and genres for festival-goers.

The lineup for 2024 includes over 30 acts, such as Anna Mieke, Junk Drawer, Landless, and The Bonk, with performances spread across intimate venues throughout the city. In addition to the free events, this year introduces one paid ticketed event, offering a unique experience while keeping the majority of the festival open to everyone.

Speaking about this year’s event, organisers said, “Every year we try to expand a little bit & welcome some new friends in. We’re delighted to be collaborating with STARLING this year – close friends of the festival who opened an art space on Nicholas St last year, just down from Treaty City Brewery.”

The full timetable is now available on Féile Na Gréine’s website for what promises to be another great festival for Limerick City.
