With more than 54 events taking place across Limerick City and County, Limerick Mental Health Association has reminded the public that “no event is too small to make a meaningful impact”.

This year’s theme, Community Connection and Compassion, hopes to show the importance of social well-being with an aim to engage people of all ages with a range of activities and events promoting mental health awareness.

LMHA Manager Ian Hackett encourages everyone to get involved, saying, “Limerick has always been a place where community and connection provide a true sense of belonging. This year, we invite everyone, whether in your neighbourhood, workplace, or family circle, to get involved in Limerick Mental Health Week 2024. Whether you’re organising a coffee morning, a yoga class, or simply taking a walk with friends and family, every effort, no matter how small, contributes to promoting positive mental health. Remember, no event is too small to make a meaningful impact.”
