The 2024 St Gabriel’s annual Christmas Ladies Lunch marked the beginning of the festive period at the Savoy Hotel as the festive fundraiser returned to the prestigious city centre hotel which was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.

The gathering of stylish ladies started with a prosecco reception on arrival. and following the initial catch-up, the guests made their way upstairs to the dining room to enjoy the rest of the day.

The fundraising committee of Agnes Bouchier-Hayes, Lucia Randles and Rita Geary organised an amazing raffle thanks to the generosity of so many local businesses and people who donated prizes for the event. St. Gabriel’s CEO, Treasa McAuliffe, was delighted to see so many friends of St. Gabriel’s at the event and that St Gabriel’s is “delighted so many wonderful women support this lunch year after year”.

The St Gabriel’s CEO said, “The annual lunch here at The Savoy signifies the start of the Christmas season. We are delighted so many wonderful women support this lunch year after year. St. Gabriel’s is indebted to volunteer fundraisers like this one because it means we can use the funds to provide additional services.”

All funds raised from the Christmas lunch will be going towards the provision of additional therapy services and speaking about the importance of fundraising events and public support, Treasa explained St Gabriel’s services wouldn’t be available without it.

She said, “Without this support, we can’t provide the services that our families and our children deserve. We want to thank the Savoy who always go above and beyond to ensure that today is a huge success and we do hope that everybody has a wonderful day.”
