Amanda Clifford shared her excitement ahead of the 2025 art exhibition, saying, “Thank you so much to the 66 talented Artists for being at part of A.B C. for Mental Health #GreenRibbonMonth Art Exhibition 2025. We should all be aware of our mental health no matter who we are.

“As humans, we share commonalities – biology, birth, death, love & self-awareness. As each individual is unique, so too is each piece of art. Each time we see an artist’s piece – regardless of their culture, sex or age – we get an insight into how that artist sees the world. No matter how one sees the world, we all want the same thing – to be listened to, understood & loved.”

The Green Ribbon Campaign, which runs all year round, uses September as its chosen month to highlight the campaign and focus on awareness-raising events and activities. Originally launched by Shine, the national stigma-reduction programme for Ireland, many organisations, including ABC for Mental Health, organise campaigns and events which raise awareness, open conversations, and educate as part of the Green Ribbon Campaign.

The groups promote the wearing of the green ribbon, a symbol of solidarity, encouraging us all to engage in open conversations and break down the barriers surrounding mental illness.
