16th October, 2025: Limerick Chamber has announced the shortlisted companies for the 14th Annual Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards, sponsored by the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS).

This year’s shortlist features an exciting mix of new and emerging businesses alongside some of the region’s most established and respected companies.

These prestigious awards recognise the outstanding achievements of businesses and community organisations across the Mid-West region, celebrating innovation, leadership, and impact.

Selecting this year’s finalists was no easy task for the independent judging panel, chaired by Tomás Sercovich, Business in the Community Ireland, and comprising respected industry figures Seán Lally, Hotel Woodstock, Liam Woulfe, Grassland Agro, Louise O’Reilly, Business to Arts, Vicki O’Toole, Tola Consultancy and Paul Shelly, Independent Non-Executive Director.
Michelle Gallagher, CEO of Limerick Chamber, said, “The calibre of entries this year has been phenomenal, reflecting the ambition and resilience of the Mid-West business community. Every entrant – shortlisted or not – demonstrates the spirit that drives our region forward. We are proud to celebrate them through these awards.”

The winners will be revealed at a sold-out black-tie gala event on Friday, 14th November 2025, at the Limerick Strand Hotel, attended by over 400 business leaders and officials from across the region.

Best SME: Regional Business Excellence Award (sponsored by AIB) nominees are DSM (Data Storage & Management); O’Mahony’s Booksellers Ltd; and PAQ IT Solutions. Best Employer: People & Culture Excellence Award (sponsored by Shannon Airport Group) nominees are: BD Research Centre Ireland (RCI); Cook Medical; and Flexsource CPL.

For the Community Impact Award (sponsored by Limerick Chamber Skillnet), the nominees are BD Research Centre Ireland (RCI); Dell Technologies; and WebDevBuilders Ltd. Sustainability and Environmental Leadership Award (sponsored by EY) nominees include: Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Ireland; Limerick Strand Hotel; and MasterChefs.

For Customer Experience Excellence Award – Retail & Hospitality (sponsored by BDO), the nominees are Cornstore; Durty Nelly’s; and University Concert Hall. The Innovation & Digital Transformation Award (sponsored by Holmes) shortlist is BD Research Centre Ireland (RCI); North; and Wrxflo. Finally, Best Not-for-Profit Impact Award (sponsored by Northern Trust) nominees are Children’s Grief Centre; Dóchas Midwest Autism Support; and Our Lady of Lourdes Community Services Group.

Richard is a presenter, producer, songwriter and actor. He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online. So, that in 20 years time people can look back and remember the events that were making the headlines.
