The 2025 Limerick Santa Cycle will see participants pedal into the Christmas spirit while raising funds for Milford Care Centre

Limerick Santa Cycle returns to Limerick City for 2025, with registration now open, seeing participants roll into the Christmas spirit while raising important funds in support of Milford Care Centre.
Starting and finishing at The Hurlers Bar on the Dublin Road, the cycle will take participants into Limerick City before passing through the main gates of Milford Hospice, creating a heartwarming moment for all participants and supporters.
The annual fundraising initiative is open to participants over 16 years of age, and donations are open to the public with a GoFundMe page set up for the event. The organisers said, “We are delighted that the Limerick Santa Cycle is back for 2025, so why not come and join in the festive fun while helping a local charity which is very close to all our hearts in the Milford Care Centre. We would be delighted to donate to this worthy cause if you can’t make it on the night!”
Participants will wear Santa suits and festive bike lights, transforming the route into a parade of sparkling, cycling Santas taking on the route through Limerick’s streets. Following the event, there will be finger food and refreshments served at The Hurlers Bar, where prizes will be awarded for early registration, best Santa costume, and most lit-up bike.
All funds raised will go directly to Milford Care Centre, a not-for-profit organisation providing exceptional palliative care and support to patients and families across Limerick and surrounding areas.
