Milford Care Centre is inviting the community to its annual service of remembrance and thanksgiving which will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Castletroy, on Sunday, June 15 from 3pm.

The event is open to the public and invites everyone regardless of their faith to honour the memory of those who passed away under the care of Milford Care Centre.

The service provides an opportunity for families and friends to come together in shared remembrance. In recognition of the personal journeys of grief, attendees are invited to bring a stone from home or a meaningful place, write their loved one’s name on it for the ceremony.
Organisers said, “We invite families to bring along a stone either from your home, or a place that holds a special significance to you and your loved one. We invite you to write your loved one’s name on it. During the service a representative from each family will have an opportunity to place the stone on the altar.
