Student achievements honoured at 2026 Ardscoil Mhuire annual Academic Awards.
Ardscoil Mhuire students were celebrated for their achievements in academics, extra-curricular activities, and school life at the 2026 Academic Awards

Ardscoil Mhuire held its annual Academic Awards Night in The Strand Hotel on Thursday, March 26.
This is always a special event for the Corbally-based school community due to what it represents: a joyous celebration of the hard work, passion, and dedication of its staff and students during the entire academic year.
Nominations for classroom-based subjects were made based on numerous criteria, with hundreds of thrilled students being acknowledged for their talent, effort, enthusiasm, and contribution to the high-quality teaching and learning that occurs on a daily basis.
Other students were selected in recognition of their effect on the whole school community; be it through leadership, extra-curricular activities, or indeed kind and courteous personalities. The recipients of these special awards were those who were seen to have excelled. This year’s event celebrated these various achievements and drew attention to ASM’s thriving and caring school community.

Poppy O’Connor, a Second Year student, was named as ‘The Kindest Most Courteous Student’; whilst Fifth Year student Nicole Forde received ‘The CEIST Award’, recognising her vast contribution to the life and culture of her school.
The Fifth Years were truly in form, as the ‘Contribution to Sport’ award was presented to Emma Doherty. Emma, already a stalwart of school sports, proudly represents Treaty Gaels and the Limerick Minor Camogie team. The management and staff of Ardscoil Mhuire extend their congratulations to all of the students nominated and offer a sincere thanks to their families for the amazing level of support throughout the past year.
