The 2026 Cycle 4 Sick Children (C4SC) Annual Awareness Tour comes to Limerick on Sunday, May 10th, for a 75km cycle through County Limerick in support of Mid West School for the Deaf

The Cycle 4 Sick Children (C4SC) Annual Awareness Tour returns on Sunday, May 10, 2026, for another superbly organised fundraiser in support of Mid West School for the Deaf.
The cycling group, is bringing its community spirit for almost 15 years, to the roads of Limerick with a charitable purpose. This year’s tour once again sets off from Raw Cycles at the Delta Retail Park at 9 am on Sunday, May 10 and will bring participants on a scenic route through Bruff, Kilmallock, Hospital, and Caherconlish before returning to Limerick.
This event is designed for all cyclists who can comfortably complete a 75km distance at a steady pace. Fully supported by bike marshals and the Red Cross, the event also includes a refreshment stop, and all funds raised will go directly to the Mid West School for the Deaf, a local school dedicated to supporting children with hearing impairments.
The Midwest School for the Deaf, located on Childers Road, Rosbrien was founded in 1979 and caters to early intervention, primary and post-primary students. The curriculum is tailored to the needs of deaf students with small class sizes. The school also provides a pre-school facility to support early intervention for hearing-impaired children, ensuring that developmental and educational needs are addressed from a young age.

C4SC is a Limerick based road cycling club with over 100 members, with a range of organised spins to suit varying levels of fitness from the beginner & leisure group through to the very experienced and long-distance cyclists. Our members attend sports and charity events throughout the Midwest and further afield whether its in cycling, running, triathlon or adventure race – you will usually find the C4SC jersey there.
Organisers said, “By purchasing a ticket and taking part, you are directly contributing to the education and support of deaf and hard of hearing children in the Mid-West Region. Your participation helps raise both awareness and essential funds, while also enjoying a well-organised and rewarding day on the bike.
“This is a meaningful opportunity to combine cycling with giving back. Sign up, ride together and help change lives one kilometre at a time.”
