A total of 36 fifth-year students will take to the catwalk, modelling elegant ball gowns from Dani’s Closet and Pamela Scott, along with sportswear from So Hockey. New for 2026 is a formal men’s eveningwear segment, featuring tuxedos modelled by male students from neighbouring schools, kindly provided by Esquire Formal Wear.

Due to popular demand, some brave and much-loved teachers will once again return to the catwalk, showcasing fashion from Pamela Scott and Sexton’s Menswear, paired with footwear from Michael Gleeson Shoes.

The theme for this year’s show is Sustainable Fashion, and the event artwork for the brochure and poster has been specially created by the schools’ fifth-year art students, reflecting this important brief.

Doors open at 7.00pm, where guests will be welcomed with a glass of prosecco and treated to a pre-show exhibition of student artwork, alongside live music performed by the schools’ music students.

Hair and make-up will be provided by past pupil Catherine Hickey and the students of LCFE College, Mulgrave Street Campus. The door prize is generously sponsored by Keane’s Jewellers, O’Connell Street, Limerick.

The evening will conclude with an event raffle, generously supported by local businesses. Raffle tickets will be available on the night, with fantastic spot prizes to be won.

Principals Úna Uí Ghríofa (Laurel Hill Coláiste) and James Collins (Laurel Hill Secondary School) highlighted the importance of the event, stating, “This is a wonderful collaborative occasion for students and staff of both schools. It provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase the many talents of our students, celebrate the fashion of Limerick and Clare, and support a great cause. We are deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our sponsors, parents, and wider community.”

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit educational and extracurricular programmes at Laurel Hill Coláiste and Laurel Hill Secondary School.
Tickets cost €20 and will be available online via the schools’ Instagram pages and school apps from February 7th.
