The programme will also include music by Mozart, Chopin, Vaughan Williams and a performance of the Linen and Lace Flute concerto by celebrated LSOM alumnus Bill Whelan, with soloists and full orchestra drawn from staff and past pupils of the school.

All proceeds go to the LSOM Alumni & Friends Fund to assist deserving students in accessing music education throughout the region. Funds raised from previous endeavours have been used for helping students with instrument purchase, travel expenses for participation in events and contributing towards the purchase of the numerous resources and other outgoings that arise in a student’s journey through music.

Limerick School of Music invite you to join them for what they hope will be a night to remember and a very special event that is not to be missed.

Speaking about the experience Limerick School of Music provides, Cecilia Madden, Principal
said, “Performance is an integral part of music education so, in our curriculum, we provide multiple performing opportunities for our students through our in-house concerts, ensembles and festivals.

“We also complete our students’ musical education with an emphasis on concurrent study of musicianship and music theory to complement their practical studies. Past students, teachers and friends will be interested in checking out our Alumni page to see how you can stay connected to Limerick School of Music.”

The fund has become an invaluable method through which fledgling Limerick musicians can access and pursue the highest standard of music education at all levels.

Limerick School of Music invite you to join them for what they hope will be a night to remember and a very special event that is not to be missed.

Each ticket will also include a sparkling prosecco and canapé reception. Tickets are €50 and available from limerickschoolofmusic.ie
