The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning €30 million EuroMillions ticket from the draw on Friday, February 11 was sold on the border of three counties in Munster.
The family-run store that sold the winning ticket was Larkin’s Gala located at Garryurtneal, Ballina, Killaloe which is close to the borders of Limerick, Clare, and Tipperary.
The store is run by Siobhan Larkin and her husband Michael, who are both “totally overwhelmed” by the news and wish whoever the lucky winner is all the best.
Siobhan, who is “still recovering from the shock of it all”, hopes that the winnings will go to one of her local customers.
The store is also in the area where Dolores McNamara resides, winner of a life-changing EuroMillions jackpot in 2005.
The National Lottery team arrived at the store on Sunday, February 13, to congratulate the store owners on selling the winning ticket.
The win marks the seventeenth time a EuroMillions jackpot has been won in Ireland. It is the fourth EuroMillions winning ticket to be sold in the Mid-West.
No winner has stepped forward as of now, but they have been advised to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place.
The National Lottery is urging everyone who bought from Larkin’s Gala to recheck their ticket as it could be the €30 million EuroMillions ticket.
The winning numbers were 13, 18, 38, 42 and 45. The lucky stars were 7 and 11.
The winner should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected].
