Moses McGuinness

On Friday, January 17 Moses McGuinness comes to Kasbah Social Club at Dolan’s. Moses is an Irish, folk pop singer-songwriter that can be found performing behind the piano and guitar but is best known for his angelic baritone vocal.

No stranger to the stage Moses is an A.I.Ms Award Nominee for best male vocal and has performed as a singer and actor in many musical and theatre productions. As an original artist Moses has performed in venues across Ireland, England and Europe, sharing the stage with acts such as The Frank and Walters, Damien Dempsey, The Undertones, Emma Langford, Brian Deady and many more.

The Wiz

OnFriday, January 17 Crescent College Comprehensive bring The Wiz to the Lime Tree Theatre stage! The Wiz is a dazzling adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” featuring show-stopping tunes such as “Ease on Down the Road,” “Don’t Nobody Bring Me No Bad News,” and “Believe in Yourself.”

This production promises to be a spectacular event, showcasing the incredible talents of over 100 secondary students from Crescent College Comprehensive. Adding to the magic, the show will feature a live band under the expert talents of music teacher Roisin Lavery.

Deirdre O’Kane

Limerick is a barrel of laughs this weekend as Lime Tree Theatre host Deirdre O’Kane on Saturday, January 18.

Comedic fireball Deirdre O’Kane is mad for road, mercilessly mining hilarity from the human condition. Will she conquer the chaos or revel in it? Tame the mayhem or “O’Kane it”? Either way you’re in for a night of relentless laughs fuelled by warped personal insight.
