Actor Stuart Mackey gained international recognition for his vulnerability in discussions on mental health awareness, fitness and also his online personalities, comedic skits, reviews and videos on Ireland.

Stuart has become one of Limerick’s leading content creators with over 1.8 million followers across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

TikTok sensation Stuart Mackey’s podcast ‘This is Stuart’ is centred around mental health, interpersonal development, and personal value; It is a thought-provoking and eloquently humorous series and is definitely a series to tune into.

When asked why he is doing a podcast in such a saturated niche such as wellness and mental health, Stuart gave both a charming and poignant response.

Stuart said, “There can never be enough of voices on the topic of mental health awareness, we all have our own stories, trials, tribulations and triumphs to tell and that is a beautiful thing.”

A Limerick native, creator, photographer and actor Stuart Mackey gained notoriety working on projects Cu Chulainn, When Men Were Men, Foundation and The Green Knight.

Fresh from hosting the 10th Richard Harris International Film Festival, Stuart was asked how he has time I’m for everything, to which he replied, “Coffee, anxiety and I forget to sleep sometimes. There’s so much I want to do and learn as a performer; I’ve received such an amazing opportunities and I want to do it all.”

“The podcast has been on the cards for a while, but I’ve been having Imposter syndrome surrounding it. I want to bring value to people and make them realise their value as individuals. To make someone laugh, brighten their day, and make them realise their self-worth is going to be the end goal for the podcast. I’m petrified but ecstatic for it.”

After amassing over 1.5 million followers on TikTok, over 170,000 on Instagram and 179,000 subscribers on YouTube, 29-year-old Stuart has become one of Limerick’s leading content creators.

Stuart has also gained international recognition not only for his vulnerability in discussions on mental health awareness and fitness but also for his online personalities, comedic skits, reviews and videos on Ireland: Its history and culture.
