People visiting Adare Village Hall and other tourist locations such as King John’s Castle, will see giant golf ball installations with a three metre ball at Adare Village Hall for one week, and a seven metre ball at King John’s Castle.

Displays will also include logo projections on the external walls of King John’s Castle; bunting, banners, and flags in Adare and Ballyneety; flags at Council buildings and across Limerick City bridges; and banners on Limerick city centre streets.

These striking installations are designed to capture attention both locally and globally, as millions of viewers tune in to the Ryder Cup and the symbolic handover to Limerick, Ireland.

Ryder Cup Europe will also be releasing promotional videos in the coming weeks featuring footage from Limerick, further elevating the city’s profile on the international stage.

Commenting in May 2025 when the dates for the 2027 competition were announced, JP McManus, owner of Adare Manor, said, “We are honoured to be hosting one of global sports’ biggest events at Adare Manor. Now the dates have been announced, the anticipation for the 2027 Ryder Cup will continue to grow as we count down to becoming the next host venue.

“Hosting golf’s greatest team contest will provide many economic benefits to the Irish economy and the south west community in particular, with thousands of people travelling to be part of the Ryder Cup’s 100th anniversary.

“We look forward to welcoming the many international visitors to Ireland, Limerick and Adare in two years’ time and to showcasing our island to a global audience.”
