Adare Manor recently voted ‘Hotel of the Year 2018’ at the world-renowned global Virtuoso ‘Best of the Best Awards’, is delighted to announce details on its magical Adare Manor Christmas experience for 2018 that offers guests an unforgettable festive period in the beautiful surroundings of the luxury 5* resort.

Speaking today, Paul Heery, General Manager, Adare Manor, said: “Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year . . . for adults and children.  The anticipation is building with the team here at Adare Manor and we look forward to welcoming guests from Ireland and internationally to Adare Manor this festive season.  In most instances, guests will remain with us for a few days, and we will be encouraging guests to take the opportunity to visit Adare village and the surrounding region.  Last year, we held an incredible inaugural Christmas Experience, which surpassed even our own expectations.  The feedback from guests was wonderful and the comments we received were truly heart-warming. We really look forward to building on the success of last year, with many more Christmas treasures up our sleeve, to make each guest’s Christmas experience with us their best yet.  We have planned three days of world-class award-winning food, service, and activities to help create life lasting memories for our guests this Christmas”.  

Festivities begin on Christmas Eve where guests will be welcomed to the 5-Star luxurious castle with seasonal treats and refreshments.  Following the very warm welcome, guests are invited to attend a Festive Champagne Afternoon Tea in The Gallery, followed by a wine or whiskey tasting.  Later, guests have the opportunity to further unwind by taking in the magical sights of Adare Manor on a horse and carriage ride through the grounds of the resort.  This will be followed by guests gathering in The Great Hall for a stunning Christmas Carol service while enjoying a champagne and canapé reception, complete with a special visit from Santa Claus!  A chauffeur service will be available for guests who wish to attend a Christmas Mass in the nearby Church in Adare village.  In the evening, the Christmas Eve celebrations will continue with a Christmas Eve Dinner in The Oak Room or The Carriage House, after which Christmas storytelling for the little ones and a peaceful nightcap in The Tack Room bar will bring Christmas Eve to a close.

On Christmas Day, guests can enjoy breakfast in The Gallery, before being chauffeur-driven to Christmas Service in Adare village, or back at the estate, guests can partake in one of the exciting country pursuit activities at Adare Manor.  Guests will then gather in the impressive Drawing Room for a glamourous reception followed by an extravagant Christmas Day lunch in the exquisite Ballroom. The remainder of the afternoon will be spent at each guests’ leisure, whether it be enjoying a family movie in the luxury Cinema, board games or Fun Zone for the younger guests, Christmas entertainment for the grown-ups, or just relaxing with loved ones by the fire.  The unforgettable Christmas Day experience will continue with a gourmet Christmas Supper in The Oak Room and The Gallery, and concludes at The Tack Room bar to close out a momentous day with live music for those who wish an opportunity to sing-along.

Following the magic of Christmas, St. Stephen’s Day will begin at each guest’s leisure.  Guests can enjoy an essential sleep-in before a wonderful brunch is served in The Carriage House.  Guests can then choose from a variety of activities on the estate to occupy their day, including historical tours, falconry or archery, or simply enjoy the beautiful sights and walking trails. That evening, guests will dine in style at The Oak Room or The Carriage House with entertainment.  Guests can then take to The Tack Room bar for a final nightcap to finish off the truly magical, unforgettable Christmas experience at Adare Manor.

The next day, guests will be able to enjoy a wholesome breakfast in The Gallery before parting ways.
