Adare Manor Employees of the Year 2018 announce Winners
The 5* Adare Manor, voted global ‘Hotel of the Year 2018’ at the world-renowned global Virtuoso ‘Best of the Best Awards’ in Las Vegas, is delighted to announce their Adare Manor Employees of the Year 2018’ winners. The ‘Employee of the Year’ Programme was established last year to recognise and acknowledge the outstanding quality of the team of wonderful people who work at Adare Manor. Every single individual working at the resort has an important role to play and it is through working together on a daily basis, that we create lasting wonderful memories for all the guests who visit Adare Manor. For the inaugural ‘Employee of the Year’ Awards, three outstanding individuals were nominated by their peers:
- Adare Manor ‘Back of House’ Winner – Magdelena Nash, Canteen Assistant
- Adare Manor ‘Front of House’ Winner – Phillip Naughton, Front of House Porter
- Adare Manor ‘Beyond Everything Award’ Winner – Eibhlis Maher, Reservations Executive.
Announcing the inaugural winners of the Adare Manor ‘Employee of the Year’ Awards, Paul Heery, General Manager, Adare Manor, said: “We have a wonderful team here at Adare Manor and for this reason, our ‘Employee of the Year’ Programme was established to recognise and acknowledge the outstanding quality of employees who make up the team at the resort. Our very special ‘Beyond Everything Award’ honours an individual for their genuine care and passion for the Adare Manor true guest experience. Congratulations to our inaugural winners – Magdelena, Phillip and Eibhlis, and on behalf of all their friends and colleagues, we wish them continued success for 2019. We hope they will all have another outstanding year.

Employee of the Year 2018 – Winners:
Adare Manor – Employee of the Year 2018 – ‘Back of House’ Winner
Magdalena, who is originally from Poland and now happily living in Limerick, joined the team at Adare Manor as an Accommodation Assistant in September 2017. Magdalena moved to the Stewarding Department in January 2018 to take up a new position as Canteen Assistant within the Facilities Canteen. Magdalena takes great pride in her work, delivering the highest quality of service to her fellow colleagues.
Adare Manor – Employee of the Year 2018 – ‘Front of House’ Winner
Phillip who is from Cappamore, Co. Limerick held a number of positions prior to taking up his role as Valet within the Concierge & Guest Services Team in October 2017. Phillip developed his expertise and moved to take up the role of Front of House Porter. Phillip excels in his new position, engaging in a friendly and genuine manner with guests and colleagues alike, constantly delivering an outstanding quality of service at Adare Manor.
Adare Manor – Employee of the Year 2018 – ‘Beyond Everything Award’ Winner
Eibhlis who is from Cashel, Co. Tipperary, is a Reservations Executive within the Sales, Marketing & Events Department. Eibhlis can be described as conscientious towards her co-workers, a problem solver and someone who has a genuine desire and care to ensure guests have the very best experience possible during their time at Adare Manor. It is due to her “absolute commitment to perfection, and beyond” that Eibhlis was voted by her peers and colleagues the ultimate winner of Adare Manor’s ‘Beyond Everything Award’ 2018.
