Brendan O Connor, General Manager of Adare Manor thanked those at the resort for “always remaining committed to delivering the most heartfelt service for our guests”

The Adare Manor has been announced among the 14 properties across Ireland, and the United Kingdom to be awarded the Michelin Guide‘s highest honour for hotels and resorts.

The Michelin Keys grading system which was newly introduced in 2024 had seen the Limerick resort announced as one of the inaugural winners of the accolade, and with news of the 2025 recipients release on Wednesday, October 8, Adare Manor has retained its honours for the second year running.

Following the announcement, General Manager for Adare Manor, Brendan O’Connor, said, “So honoured to be in Paris this evening to receive the Three Michelin Keys on behalf of the incredible team at Adare Manor.”

He added, “Congratulations and thank you to all at Adare Manor, always remaining committed to delivering the most heartfelt service for our guests.”

The resort shared news of the incredible feat with a video published to social media with a caption of poetry, reading, “Beneath carved stone and candlelight, moments grow into memories. Here, time lingers softly, long enough for love, laughter and wonder to take root.

“Beauty lives in the details we never rush. A story unfolding exactly as it should. Three MICHELIN Keys rest among these moments, a quiet acknowledgement of the care that shapes every chapter, every gesture, every unfolding story.”

It was double celebrations for Limerick, as for the second year running, No. 1 Pery Square was also awarded a Michelin Key, with the city-centre hotel saying, “This Michelin Key is an honour — but our mission remains the same: to continue offering a heartfelt and beautiful stay, just as we always have. Thank you to our wonderful guests and loyal supporters – this is for you.”

Speaking about the announcement, The Michelin guide says, “Just like the MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, the MICHELIN Keys represent our most outstanding hotels. In total, The MICHELIN Guide hotel selection for Great Britain and Ireland includes 14 Three-Key hotels, 43 Two-Key hotels and 82 One-Key hotels, with 19 hotels newly awarded for 2025.”
