The Adare Manor awarded Three Michelin Keys and named “Best Resort in Europe”
The Adare Manor solidified its place among the world’s elite luxury resorts earning Three Michelin Keys and being named “Best Resort in Europe” for the third time in a row by Condé Nast.

The Adare Manor has solidified its place among the world’s elite luxury resorts as it became one of 14 hotels across Ireland and the UK to be awarded the prestigious Three Michelin Keys, the highest honour in the Michelin Guide’s new hotel grading system.
The award came on the same day Adare Manor was named the “Best Resort in Europe” for its third year running by the world-renowned Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
General Manager Brendan O’Connor said the awards are a “remarkable” way to celebrate the Adare Manor team’s dedication to the highest level of hospitality.

Mr O’Connor said, “To be among the first to receive Three MICHELIN Keys, and the first to be named for the third time in a row ‘Best Resort in Europe’ at the 2024 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, both on the same day, is a remarkable way to celebrate our team’s dedication to the art of hospitality.”
The Three Michelin Keys distinction was newly introduced in 2024 by the historical Michelin Guide and recognises hotels that excel in five key areas with service quality; overall personality; value; guest experience; and architecture and interior design.
The 19th-century Adare Manor estate earned the top honour alongside just one other Irish hotel which earned three Three Michelin Keys, Ballyfin Demesne in county Laois also earning a top accolade.
No. 1 Pery Square was also honoured to receive One Michelin Key for the city centre hotel, with hotel management writing on Instagram, “This prestigious award recognises the most remarkable accommodations, celebrating hotels that provide truly unforgettable experiences. Just as MICHELIN Stars honour the world’s best restaurants, MICHELIN Keys highlight hotels that combine exceptional service, unique character, and a dedication to hospitality.”
With the Michelin Guide expanding its hotel selections and now including over 5,000 properties globally, only the world’s best hotels receive Michelin Keys, Adare Manor’s recognition with three keys and No. 1 Pery Square also receiving a key shows Limerick is a standout destination for hotel breaks.
Adare Manor noted in a social media post, “These achievements are a testament to the dedication and passion of every member of our team, across all departments, who strive every day to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.”
The Adare Manor is not new to Michelin recognition as the hotel is home to The Oak Room restaurant, the resort’s Michelin Star restaurant where Head Chef Michael Tweedie and his team cook with restraint and according to the seasons in one of the most magical settings in Ireland.
