The Adare St. Patricks Day Parade Committee will be holding a Golf Classic in Adare Manor Golf Club (old course) on Friday, September 16 from 8am until 4pm. This is the only fundraiser that will take place towards the Adare St Paddys Day 2023 Parade.
This year, Adare celebrated their first St Patricks Day parade in 23 years which turned out a huge success. Locals young and old gathered in their thousands to witness the momentous occasion, and to see local community groups and organisations put on a show as they made their way up Main Street.
Now, the planners of Adare St Paddys Day 2023 want to make next year’s parade even bigger and better than before, with help of the Adare Paddys Day Fundraiser.
There are many great prizes up for grabs at the Golf Classic fundraiser and the first prize for the lucky winning team will get to play The Golf Course at Adare Manor Hotel, where the JP McManus Pro-Am took place.
Tricia Derwin, Chairperson of the Adare St Patrick’s Day Parade said, “We look forward to bringing the parade back to Adare next year for an even bigger and better spectacle and your support in this fundraiser would be greatly appreciated.”
The cost for a team of three people to compete in the Golf Classic is €250, this includes a burger, drink, and goody bag. The competition consists of Nearest Pins men and ladies, and Longest Drive men and ladies, respectively. First, second and third prizes will be awarded.
For an additional €100 you can secure two Tee Boxes on the golf course.
