Limerick is delighted to announce that Irish comedian Al Porter University Concert Hall Limerick gig has a date set in place for Saturday, November 26 as part of his ‘The Honeymoon Tour’. Al Porter holds the record for being the youngest entertainer to headline and sell out Dublin’s Vicar Street (Four times). So be prepared to have your sides hurting from laughing so much!
The Honeymoon Tour will be Al Porter’s most ambitious tour to date with over 30 theatre dates in the diary and more being added due to phenomenal demand! Tickets cost €20 euros online.

Only 23 years of age, Al has been entertaining people for over 12 years. He started as a child actor on the stage of The Olympia (I, Keano, Bugsy Malone, to name a few) to now writing, starring and co-producing the Olympia Panto ‘Freezin’ last year and with this season’s “The Ugly Sisters and Yer Wan”.
The 23-year old was described at last years Edinburgh Comedy Festival as ‘destined for arenas’ by Loaded magazine. A regular in the radio and television world, Al Porter has quickly become one of the most popular, outspoken and culturally relevant comics in the country.
At last years Vodafone Comedy Festival he received standing ovations for each of his shows, which underpinned his popularity as one of Ireland’s most exciting young talents. Since then, he has supported the much-loved comedian Michael McIntyre and starred in his own Sky Arts short with Pauline McLynn (Which he wrote with Karl Spain).
Those who come to the gig at University Concert Hall Limerick can expect a suited and booted Al Porter performing well over an hour of hilarious stories, including sketches and songs.
“I’m really looking forward to taking to the hi-ways and by-ways of Ireland. Performing live shows is my first love and I can promise that I will be playing in a town near you!” said Al Porter.
