University Concert Hall is delighted to announce that December 2013 sees a return to Limerick of Ireland’s Panto Queen, Adele King, starring as Widow Twinkee in ALADDIN!

Following the huge success of last year’s first fully professional Panto in the region, the same team returns with what promises, yet again, to be the glitziest, starriest, funniest show of the season.

Twink assumes one of the most famous Panto roles ever when she takes to the UCH stage as the hilarious “Widow Twinkee”. Joining her will be last year’s Voice of Ireland finalist and Celebrity Bainisteoir contestant Richie Hayes as Wishee Washee and Adam Lawlor (the hilarious stylist to the Uglies in “Cinderella”!) as Abanazer.

Once again outstanding local talent is well represented with the return of the stunning Leanne Moore as Princess Jasmine and last year’s hilarious hideous duo Myles Breen and Richard Lynch taking on the roles of the Emperor and the Policeman…..But that’s not all!

This year we are delighted to introduce Limerick man Kamal Ibrahim to the professional Panto team in the title role! Kamal put Limerick on the map when he was crowned Mr. World “the world’s most desirable man” in 2010, he recently featured in Celebrity Masterchef and he is now part of the RTE Lotto presenting team. This is Kamal’s first time in Panto and he is delighted to assume the title role in his native city.

With its star studded cast, the best chart topping tunes, divine costumes, loads of laughs and more than a touch of magic, Aladdin at UCH will be the most exciting thing you see this Christmas. With matinee and evening performances from December 20th to January 5th, and tickets from just €16.50 (Yes! Really!!!), there is a day and a price to suit everyone.

Given the reaction of last year’s audience –“ absolutely magical”, “so so funny for both adults and kids”, “laughing from start to finish”, “loved every minute”,a fabulous memorable experience”– tickets for Aladdin are sure to fly out the door, so book early to guarantee your place, then sit back and look forward to the fun.
