The musical sensation that is ALL SHOOK UP is coming to a stage near you for 3 nights only! And what’s better? This theatre production will be performed by some extremely talented students from two local secondary schools!

The Transition Year students of St Munchin’s College and Ardscoil Mhuire in Corbally bring you the hip-swiveling and lip-curling musical ‘All Shook Up’. The two schools have a long history of musical collaboration. The idea of staging a joint school musical was broached in 1999. This venture gathered momentum and culminated in the staging of the old classic ‘The Boyfriend’. Sr. Patricia Lee of Ardscoil Mhuire was a key driving force and director of the first of many school productions. When asked to reflect on the venture she stated “for me it was a dream come true and over the years both boys and girls have benefited enormously from this shared and invaluable experience”.

St Munchin’s Principal David Quilter said “the annual musical is a corner stone of the TY programme. Students who only a few short months ago would have shied away from public performance promise to bring down the house with this rock and roll extravaganza”. These sentiments were affirmed by Ardscoil Mhuire Principal Collette McGrath who stated ‘the school musical offers each student the opportunity to explore and challenge their innate strengths and potential”.
