Analog Community Awards Scheme donates to 40 Munster charities and volunteer groups
Analog Devices International (ADI), a world leader in data conversion and signal conditioning technology solutions, has made financial donations to 40 community, voluntary and charitable organisations across Munster as part of its Community Awards and Charitable Donations Programme.

Employees from ADI’s Limerick and Cork sites were given the opportunity to have their say on who should benefit from the Analog Community Awards Scheme. Over 200 nominations were made on behalf of a wide variety of educational, social, charitable, cultural and artistic organisations across Limerick, Cork and Clare.
Presenting the cheques at a special reception for all benefactors, Leo McHugh, VP – Industrial Business Units, ADI, said, “At Analog Devices we focus our innovation to address our customers most complex, important and impactful challenges. Each of the organisations we support through our Analog Community Awards Scheme is also tackling complex, important and impactful challenges; whether it’s providing care and comfort, alleviating distress or providing education and training. We are delighted to be in a position to give back and support them in their endeavours.”

Analog’s Community Relations Team were tasked with reviewing the 200-plus submissions and allocated contributions across four category types; Platinum (1 award), Gold (4 awards), Silver (5 awards) and Bronze (30 awards).
As a long-standing charity partner of ADI, Milford Hospice received the Platinum donation.
Gold and Silver donations were made to nine registered charities including; Acquired Brain Injury (Limerick Branch), Brain Tumour Ireland, Share a Dream Foundation, St Gabriel’s School & Centre, Blood Bike Mid-West, Dochas Hope for People with Autism, ISPCC, St Vincent de Paul and the Children’s Grief Centre.
The Bronze recipients, 30 in all, included a wide variety of schools, sporting clubs, social enterprises and needy charitable causes based in Limerick, Cork and Clare. All listed below.
Site leaders Denis Doyle and Leo McHugh presented cheques to all recipients at a special award ceremony in Analog Devices, Limerick recently where the respective awardees were hosted by their nominating employee(s).
Denis Doyle, VP & GM – Manufacturing, ADI, said, “It’s important that employees have their say on how we distribute our charitable donations. For most of the charity and community organisations chosen, our employees and their families either rely on them or support them through volunteering and fundraising. The gratifying letters we receive and the feedback from our employees IS heartening as we know that the donations can be life-changing for many people.”
