Analog Devices (ADI), a Gold Sponsor of the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) since 2000, is gearing up for its 25th year of participation in Europe's largest STEM event of its kind. To mark the milestone, ADI hosted an exclusive preview of its interactive technology stand before it heads to the RDS for the exhibition in the New Year. Local children were treated to a sneak peek of the stand, which features hands-on demonstrations showcasing the same cutting-edge analog, digital, and software technologies ADI uses to drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world. Highlights of the ADI Stand at BTYSTE 2025 include Kinetic Tower; who can generate the most power with the greatest precision? Using ADI’s cutting-edge ADE9178 energy metering IC—commonly used in electric vehicle charging stations—players generate power to hit a target and compete for top position.

Robotics: Play against an AI trained robot in a friendly game of Tic Tac Toe and realise the potential of intelligent robotics.

Arcade Corner: Four interactive games challenge your mind and demonstrate the fundamentals of electronics. Highlights include a reaction game, a memory challenge, a digital circuit exploration, and an exhilarating robot race showcasing the principles of robotics and self-driving vehicles.

Machine Vision Game: Dive into the future of gaming! Using advanced body tracking and camera technologies, this immersive activity re-imagines classics like Pong and Samurai Slice.

Green Table: Explore Ireland’s renewable energy potential. Hands-on demonstrations reveal how geothermal, solar, and wind energy can help meet the country’s sustainability goals.

Old Favourites Return: Popular attractions like the Laser Vault (dodge laser beams in a darkened vault) and Floor Piano are back, both demonstrating ADI’s groundbreaking sensing technology.

ADI’s commitment to inspiring future scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians shines through in every aspect of its stand. As a Gold Sponsor, ADI also plays a key role in the event by designing engaging exhibits, contributing to the judging process, and presenting excellence awards to students and teachers.
