As April’s Twilight Thursdays draws to a close, the energy seamlessly carries into Riverfest Limerick 2026, running across the May Bank Holiday weekend. While the festival is well known for its family-friendly offerings, there is also a rich selection of events tailored for adults seeking memorable days and evenings out.

The popular Riverfest Street Party returns with a new riverside location at George’s Quay, bringing DJs, food and festival energy on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Throughout the weekend, the Riverfestival Village at Arthur’s Quay Park takes on a new character as night falls, with food stalls, crafts, street performances and live music creating a relaxed yet lively riverside atmosphere.

A Sitting Room Outside at Nicholas Street invites visitors to unwind in a reimagined open-air living space beside Treaty City Brewery, combining music, food and creativity across Saturday and Sunday evenings.

On the Saturday, “A Whimsical Night with the Disco Pigs” transforms the Old Cornstore on Roches Street into a playful, high-energy spectacle of folklore, music and imagination.

The Great Limerick Block Party on Catherine Street on Sunday, 03 May, will build from an afternoon celebration into the largest silent disco the city has ever seen.
