Art Exhibition at Dooradoyle Library 2019

The exhibition running at Dooradoyle library will be an eclectic mix of artwork from three very different artists, including Paul Weerasekera, Lynda Ryan and Kath Tiernan. You can look forward to a range of very colourful artwork displaying everything from local architecture to portraits and from colourful flowers to the magical theme of fairies.

Paul Weerasekera lives and works in Limerick. Originally from Colombo, Sri Lanka, he studied Architecture/Art and Design in the UK. Paul has exhibited artwork in both group and solo shows over the years, and he tutors art classes in the city. He not only paints local architecture but is a very keen portrait artist as well. His chosen media is often acrylic, but he also paints with watercolour, pastel and pencil. His work is on display across the globe, particularly in the USA.
