Askeaton Touring Club Annual Charity Cycle 2016

Wyeth Nutrition and Askeaton Touring Club Annual Charity Cycle 2016 will take place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June in aid of St. Gabriels Children’s Respite House. This will be the 27th annual charity cycle.

St. Gabriels School & Centre is a not for profit children’s disability organisation and a registered charity located in Dooradoyle on the south side of Limerick City. St. Gabriel’s School and Centre is dedicated to providing education and a range of essential health-related therapies and clinical intervention programmes to more than 500 children and young adults living with physical disabilities, developmental delay or more serious life-Wyeth Nutrition and Askeaton Touring Club Annual Charity Cycle 2016limiting conditions. Up to 58 children with special needs attend St. Gabriel’s school each day, while St. Gabriel’s Centre delivers a range of interventions and support services for up to 400 of these children and their families on an outpatient basis. 

 St. Gabriels Children’s Respite House work with the children and their disabilities as well as with their families. 

 They are always looking for individuals to help organise their events to raise funds and awareness, volunteers to run existing events or individuals to develop new and creative fundraising ideas. Why not get involved by showing your support through donations and contributions.

Wyeth Nutrition and Askeaton Touring Club Annual Charity Cycle 2016

Askeaton Touring Club Annual Charity Cycle 2016 will see 150 cyclists compete in the two day event. The cycle will start in Askeaton and go through Croagh, Ardagh, Tarbert and across the ferry to Kilrush overnighting at the Inn at Dromoland. On Sunday they will travel to Limerick and stop at St. Gabriel’s for some light refreshments. The cyclists will then complete the remaining journey back to Askeaton. Proceeds from this year’s charity cycle will go toward the building of a new children’s respite house which is to be built in the grounds of Mungret College. The cost of the building project is €2million.
