Asystec announces 50 new highly skilled jobs

Minister for European Affairs and Data Protection, Dara Murphy TD, today (Friday) announced the creation of 50 new highly skilled jobs over 3 years at the Data Management Solutions Company, Asystec. The Minister made the announcement at the official opening of the new Asystec Cork offices in Ballincollig, Co. Cork.

Designing IT solutions to assist companies to manage, secure and leverage their key data assets, Asystec employs people in Ireland & the UK. The new roles will be created in the fields of Analytics, Datacentre and IT Security and Governance.

Speaking at the official opening Minister for European Affairs and Data Protection, Dara Murphy TD said: “I am delighted to announce the creation of 50 new highly skilled jobs in Cork today. Asystec is a fantastic example of an indigenous Irish company providing specialised and innovative data management solutions to a host of clients both nationally and internationally.”

Privately owned and funded, Asystec was founded by Les Byrne & Brendan McPhillips in 2011 and already boasts an impressive line-up of global brands and multinationals as clients.

The new state-of-the-art facility in Cork will provide customers and technology partners in the region with off-site work space to enable strategic planning and innovation around Data management strategies. It also provides a hot desk facility for customers and vendors visiting the Cork Region.
