This month’s Twilight Thursday edition comes as part of the wider Summer in the City programme and promises another evening of discovery, entertainment and community connection for all this Thursday 27 August.

Public spaces and venues throughout the city centre will come alive with a mix of live performances, cultural showcases, creative workshops and family activities, offering something for all ages and interests.

August Twilight Thursday highlights include Live from The Glentworth Social with Hazey Haze x Strange Boy x Dyrt; Runway Street at The Crescent O’Connell Avenue, brought to you by The Holman Lee Agency; Denmark Street Bartenders Race; and Mobile Petting Farm, Live Music and Family Fun at The Milk Market.

Other events include the Spacecraft Showcase and Art Sale at THE GAFF, Lord Edward Street; Full Moon Ceremony in People’s Park; Evening Guided Tour and Sip & Craft at King John’s Castle; CLUBVENUS: SummerSamhain at Pharmacia Bar; Bring Your Own Vinyl at The Still House; and BookTok Trivia Night with O’Mahony’s.

The full programme of events is available at www.limerick.ie/Twilight-Thursdays, with listings continuing to be updated in advance of the night.  

Twilight Thursdays offers practical incentives for visitors, including FREE parking at The Potato Market Car Park from 6pm to 9pm and 40% discounted taxi fares through FreeNow and Uber, making it easier to enjoy a night out in the city centre. Use Code “twilightthursdayaug26” on FreeNow OR Use code “TWILIGHTTHURSDAYSAUG” on Uber.

Limerick is one of nine locations selected to take part in the national Night-Time Economy pilot programme, supported by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, helping to position the city as a vibrant and inclusive destination after hours.  

Businesses or groups looking to take part in future Twilight Thursdays are invited to submit an expression of interest via Limerick.ie.
