Ballinacurra Gaels is hosting a challenge game between the Limerick and Kerry Ladies Gaelic Football teams this Saturday
The game, set to kick off at 2 pm at Ballinacurra Gaels with free admission, is an excellent opportunity for families, club members, and GAA fans to witness inter-county action up close.

Ballinacurra Gaels, a GAA club on the southside of Limerick city, will have the honour of hosting a challenge game between the Limerick and Kerry Ladies Gaelic Football teams this Saturday, February 15.

The game, set to kick off at 2pm, marks a historic occasion as it will be the first-ever inter-county match played at the club’s grounds.

The anticipated fixture promises to be an exciting match, showcasing ladies’ Gaelic football, while also providing a fantastic community event for local supporters. Admission is free, making it an excellent opportunity for families, club members, and GAA fans to witness inter-county action up close.

Paul Foley of Limerick GAA expressed his enthusiasm for the event, saying, “Super initiative. First time an Inter County game has been played at these grounds in Ballinacurra Limerick.”

Ballinacurra Gaels expressed their excitement ahead of the occasion, saying, “We are really thrilled to have the honour of hosting this challenge game between Limerick and Kerry. Kick off is at 2pm in our club grounds this coming Saturday. We hope all our players, boys and girls, and their families can be there to support, wearing club or county colours!”

Ballinacurra Gaels is encouraging all of their players, both boys and girls, along with their families, to attend and show their support by wearing club or county colours. Supporters are reminded that there will be no parking available at the club grounds and to be mindful of the local residents when travelling to the venue.
