Ballyneety Golf Club is set to host the opening two days of the 2027 Junior Ryder Cup as “one of the finest parkland golfing experiences in Ireland”

Ballyneety Golf Club, which holds a Ryder Cup connection as the parkland course was co-designed by 2014 Ryder Cup vice-captain Des Smyth with golf course designer Declan Branigan, will host the opening two days of 2027 Junior Ryder Cup action.
Following the announcement Edward Kitson, Junior Ryder Cup Match Director said the course will be a “magnificent host” for the 2027 competition, he said, “The venue offers one of the finest parkland golfing experiences in Ireland, and the next generation of golfing superstars will relish the opportunity to compete on the champion-standard layout.”
The junior golfers will compete on the 183-acre course which offers stunning views of Limerick City and County before playing the final day singles matches at the Adare Manor where the 24 golfers will get to face off on the Ryder Cup 2027 course in front of the Ryder Cup crowds which will be an incredible experience for the athletes and a remarkable week of golf in Limerick.
John Leamy, General Manager of Ballyneety Golf Club, said hosting the 2027 Junior Ryder Cup is a “true honour” for the club.

The Junior Ryder Cup will feature the top junior golfers from Europe and the United States, competing in a thrilling series of matches. The first two days of foursomes and fourballs will take place at Ballyneety Golf Club, with the decisive singles matches held at Adare Manor. It will offer local fans a chance to witness the next generation of golfing talent up close, adding to the excitement of Ryder Cup week.
