Limerick TUS Gaelic Grounds opens the gates to welcome music fans from all over Ireland on Saturday, 23rd August, The Big Day Out has just announced another addition to an already stellar lineup!
BASSHUNTER one of the biggest selling acts of the noughties will take to the Gaelic Grounds stage, joining Blue, Peter Andre, Whigfield, Heather Small, DJ Sash!, Ntrance, Tall Paul and Mark McCabe!
An unprecedented five weeks at #1 in the Irish charts in 2008 with his floor filler “Now You’re Gone” heralded an Irish love affair with the Swedish pop star and since then Basshunter has headlined sold out shows all over the country ever since!
More recently, he joined The 2 Johnnies on the lineup for their summer extravaganza in St. Anne’s Park for the sold-out ‘Pints in a Field’ show and indeed, tales of his adventures all over Ireland have been a running narrative on their chart-topping podcast.
“I just do better shows and have the best time when I come to Ireland”, said Basshunter from Budapest this weekend. “I do dozens of shows all over the world every year, but the crowd reaction in Ireland to the music is always bigger and better, as is the afterparty.”
After nearly 20 years of filling dance floors with hits like “Now You’re Gone” and “All I Ever Wanted” dance music legend BASSHUNTER will be flying in to join Ireland’s biggest 90s and 00s party.
The Swedish DJ and producer is one of the world’s most in demand artists and will be on the main stage for a massive throwback set with his five #1 singles and lots more, joining the biggest boy band of the 00s BLUE, 90s icons Peter Andre and Heather Small, dance superstars DJ Sash!, Ultrabeat, Ntrance and Tall Paul and a whole lot more at Limerick’s TUS Gaelic Grounds on the Saturday 23rd August.
