Be Fabulous Limerick Will O’Brien, the owner in his clothing store

Be Fabulous Limerick is just as fabulous as it’s name with a quirky interior and an atmosphere like no other store in Limerick, it’s a truly unique shopping experience for all customers. Will O’Brien, the prestige owner of Be Fabulous Limerick set up the store in November 2009 following his redundancy from Dell in early 2009.

Since beginning the business he has dressed the likes of Celia Holman Lee and the well-known Irish model, Shauna Lindsey. Will explained to me where the name Be Fabulous Limerick came from, “Can you remember the Special K Ad with the woman in the red dress?” he says to me, “that’s where the name Be Fabulous came from, it’s something that sticks in the mind and you won’t ever forget it.”

Be Fabulous is located on Shannon street in the heart of Limerick City. With a large clientele from all over the country including Cork, Galway and Dublin there is no stopping Will from Be Fabulous. The store sees a large age group through it’s doors, beginning at 15 and currently ending at the age of 84, Will gets to know all his clients. He told me about his relationship with all his regular customers, “I’ve become great friends with my customers, it’s truly a mixed range of clients that come into us because we do debs, occasion wear, jewelry and bags.”

Be Fabulous caters to all shapes and sizes as well as any type of budget. Short dresses vary in size from a six to a fourteen and long dresses go from a size six to a size eighteen. Will has an excellent relationship with the Zip Yard Limerick as all Be Fabulous customers get a 10% discount for any alterations needed for a dress. So no matter what the situation is you will get fabulous treatment and the perfect dress for you!

Prizing ranges from €60 to €290 depending on the dress and style you go for. Will is in the Be Fabulous store from Tuesdays to Saturdays and he told me that most clients wait for these days as they love to meet him and get the full shopping experience. “I’m very different to other boutiques, my personality sells the clothes as for me it’s not about the sale, it’s about the right dress for the right girl.”

Will goes to Fashion shows all over the world for his garments; he recently visited Paris, Madrid and Dusseldorf for the new dress season! With 4-6 weeks to pay off outstanding debt on a dress it’s really reasonably for everyone.

The future for Be Fabulous is looking very bright as Will hopes to expand the store in the next couple of years and I cannot wait to see what he does!
