Bernard Casey and Fred Cooke to perform at Kasbah

The Shape of Two will see Bernard Casey and Fred Cooke perform a double headline gig at the Kasbah on Thursday 4th October

Dolans have today announced that two of Ireland’s leading comedians are set to take to the Limerick stage later this year.

Bernard Casey comes to Limerick on the back of his smashing debut performance at Electric Picnic. Bernard has taken the internet by storm when he received millions of views on his videos. These videos included The Polish/Irish Accent, GAA Stereotypes, the French Oral and The Irish Listening Test.

The quick-witted, old-school Irish storytelling of Bernard Casey has made him into a unique and consistent performer. Accents, impressions, and off-wall-stories keep audiences hanging on his every word.

Joining Casey is Fred Cooke who will deliver his unique brand of comedy through his musical prowess and wild, crafted story-telling.

Described by Hot Press as “the Premier League of Irish funnymen”, Fred Cooke delivers a unique brand of comedy through his musical prowess and wildcrafted physical storytelling. He has rapidly become a unique stand-up delivering a style of comedy that simply cannot be imitated

He has worked on The Tommy Tiernan Show both on RTÉ and 2fm. Fred became a regular on the highly successful RTÉ Show, The Fear.

He has been seen preparing a choral spectical surprise at a proposal in the Electric Picnic, embarrassing one of his fans at the Vodafone Comedy Festival, and proposing to an unexpected lady in Dublin City Centre.

His musical sketches are a constant hilarious success with his Republic of Telly Hidden Camera Prank reaching over 1.5 million hits on Youtube.

‘The Shape of Two’, performed by Bernard Casey and Fred Cooke, will play the Kasbah Limerick on Thursday 4th October.
