Limerick’s BeSPOKE Bike Festival 2017 is happening across the city and county this week with a diverse number of cycling related events to celebrate cycling on the 200 year anniversary of the bike.
BeSPOKE Bike Festival 2017 is a Limerick Smarter Travel Initiative which included two safety awareness campaigns on Bedford Row in association with An Garda Siochana and the Road Safety Authority, four bike fixing events across the city and a family cycle on the new shared cycle and walkway from O’Brien’s Park to the University of Limerick.
BeSPOKE Bike Festival 2017 is a Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport national initiative which features cycling events all over the country.
One of the methods of promoting the Limerick Smarter Travel initiative is through Limericks BeSPOKE Bike Festival 2017, which saw a huge variety of events held throughout Limerick in partnership with Limerick Sports Partnership.
There really is going to be something for everyone, so come along, bring your friends and family and let’s celebrate all things bicycle.
