Is there an attractive garden in your area that you would like to nominate for the Limerick Going for Gold Best Front Garden Competition?
Or maybe you would like to enter your own garden in the competition?
Then we would like to hear from you as the deadline for inclusion in the Limerick Going for Gold Best Front Garden Competition has been extended until Wednesday 14 August.
The Best Front Garden Competition is one of the categories in the annual Limerick Going For Gold.
Forms are also available from the Parkway Shopping Centre, Limerick City and County Council’s Customer Services or to download from Limerick.ie.
To qualify for the competition:
- The garden must be visible from a public road.
- A minimum of two photographs must be submitted with each application form. The first round of judging will be done based on the photographs provided, so please ensure that your photographs are of good quality to assist the judges in their deliberations.
- A location map (and GPS Co-ordinates/ Eircode) must be submitted with each application form. This can by hand-drawn and must indicate where the garden is located.
Completed Application forms to be sent by post to: Most Beautiful Garden Competition, Manager’s Office, Parkway Shopping Centre, Dublin Road, Limerick.
The Best Front Garden competition is sponsored by the Parkway Shopping Centre and judged by the Parkway Shopping Centre and the Limerick Post. Judging takes place from mid-August until early September. with the winner being announced at the gala Going For Gold awards in October.
