Expect terror, tension, and twisted tales — all created under extreme time pressure by local and regional filmmaking teams.

Get ready for a spine-tingling night of film as Big Shots presents its 2nd Annual Halloween Screams All-Island Film Competition.

This unique horror showcase premieres brand new short films written, shot, and edited in just 48 hours.

Hosted in collaboration with Lumen Street Theatre and the Samhain Festival, this spooky screening takes place at Belltable Theatre, with doors opening at 6:30pm.

Following the screenings, the fright-filled fun continues with an Awards Ceremony and Fancy Dress Party at Record Room, 10:30pm, where standout films will be honoured and the Scream Queen will be crowned.

This is a ticketed event — secure your seat now via the Belltable website and prepare to witness what creative chaos happens when horror meets a ticking clock.

The event takes place on Friday, October 31at Belltable from 7:00 pm followed by an Awards Party at Record Room from 10:30 pm, tickets are available through the Belltable website.

Big Shots presents our 2nd Annual Halloween Screams All-Island Film Competition

Richard is a presenter, producer, songwriter and actor. He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online. Richard says that the ilovelimerick.com concept is very much a community driven project that aims to document life in Limerick. So, that in 20 years time people can look back and remember the events that were making the headlines.
