Entry is free to the gig and there will be a raffle on the night which includes a pair of African Djembe drums. Donations can be made on the night or through the website at www.bluebox.ie. There will be a raffle and prizes including African Djembe drums. You can find the event and Blue Box on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BlueBoxCharity
This amazing event will be full of excitement with plenty of prizes and plenty of music!
The Launch of the “Much Loved” Campaign will also be held that evening. This Campaign is a social media campaign to raise funds for The Blue Box. The idea is based on taking a “Selfie” of you and your favourite Teddy Bear or loved object and sending it to The Blue Box Facebook and to your friends. Once you’ve done this you can then text BEAR to 50300, which will raise funds for The Blue Box. More information will be given on the night!
The idea behind the “Much Loved” Campaign continues on from the “Much Loved” exhibition which took place back in September as part of Elemental Arts and Culture festival. The exhibition by award-winning Dublin-based portrait photographer Mark Nixon was hosted in collaboration with The Blue Box Creative Learning Centre.
The Blue Box Team, Children & Families, appreciate all of the public’s support and they look forward to seeing you there!
